European Studies Requirements
18 Hours (including capstone course)
SpacerFive courses (15 hours) must be chosen from the following interdisciplinary clusters.
One course (3 hours) must be taken in each of the three clusters.

SpacerStudents choose the remaining two courses (6 hours) from any cluster.
No more than six hours (6 hours) in one interdisciplinary cluster, no more than 3 hours (3 hours) in one discipline, and no more than six hours (6 hours) devoted to the study of one country may count towards the European Studies Minor.

SpacerNote: Special Topics courses are not included in any of these clusters. Each discipline offers relevant Special Topics courses. When appropriate, Special Topics courses will count towards the minor. Students should consult with the Director of the program to determine if a Special Topics course may count towards the minor. Students may also need to fulfill prerequisites before they may take certain upper-level courses in some departments.

Required Course: European Studies Capstone Course (3 Hours)
SpacerEUST 400: A synthetic interdisciplinary examination of one or more themes or topics on Europe offered by one or more faculty from the disciplines in the three interdisciplinary clusters. Students will have the opportunity to think across disciplines, to make connections between disciplines, and to synthesize their acquired knowledge.
